For Montenegro Stars Hotel Group the most important thing is wellbeing of our guests and employees. Therefore we act responsibly by carefully monitoring the development of situation regarding COVID-19 coronavirus and we act in accordance with the recommendations given by the Public Health Institute of Montenegro and World Health Organization.
Our hotels implement the most strict safety procedures, which enable our guests, as well as our employees, to feel safe and protected. We are carrying out training and education for our employees on a daily basis, during which we educate them on cleaning protocols and hygiene maintenance. Moreover, we have tightened already high standards for food handling, as well as frequency of cleaning and disinfection of all premises and areas in hotel, especially of public spaces, with emphasis on surfaces that are frequently touched. We will continue to follow the guidelines of the local and world health authorities and to undertake relevant health and safety measures in order to provide for our guests safe surroundings and high level of service.

In order to provide you safe staying in our hotels, our team of experts has taken a number of measures which will make your stay safe.
Public areas:
  • Respecting the physical distance
  • Dispensaries with disinfectants in all areas (including elevators)
  • Information on mandatory measures in all public areas
  • Mandatory protective masks indoors
  • Regular disinfection of areas used by gusets (elevators, handrails, toalets, doors, handles...)
  • Regular mentenance of ventilation system
Front desk:
  • Informing the guests on obligation of wearing protective masks
  • Respecting of safety measures for the customers during check-in / check-out
  • Recomended non-contact payment
  • Bell boy services while respecting of safety measures and disinfection
  • Service of calling a doctor on the request of the customer (to be charged)
Main restaurant:
  • Placed Distancing During Services warning signs
  • Mandatory hand disinfection for all users
  • Spacing of tables ensuring 2m distance
  • Without self-service option – chefs will be serving buffet guests while wearing gloves and masks
  • Use of disposable menus
  • Thorough disinfection of surfaces and inventory with which the guest come into contact

A la carte restaurant:
  • Spacing of tables ensuring 2m distance
  • Not more than 2 people at a table – with the exception of household members
  • Mandatory hand disinfection for all users
  • Thorough disinfection of surfaces and inventory with which the guest come into contact
  • Clearly set out information on disinfection activities carried out
  • Use of disposable menus
Accommodation:
  • Thorough disinfection of room after cleaning (daily room service)
  • Change of bed linen and towels in accordance with the hotel procedure or upon the request of the guest
  • Washing and disinfecting of bed linen and towels in professional washing machines that are regularly serviced
  • Disposable advertising material that will be destroyed
  • Use of protective equipment (masks and gloves during cleaning of the room)
  • Ventilation of rooms on regular basis
Beach/pools/gym:
  • Spacing of beach furniture ensuring respecting of prescribed distance measures (one set per 16m2)
  • Disinfection of beach furniture after each guest
  • Disinfection of beach access before the opening hours
  • Disinfection of locker rooms and changing cabins after use
  • Defined number of pool users (outdoor and indoor) as well as for saunas
  • Regular treatment of the pool water (chlorination, pH, temperature…)
  • Saunas with high moisture percentage and steam bath are excluded from use
  • Defined number of gym/fitness room users – regular disinfection of the training instruments after they have been used by guests
  • Disinfection of the areas around the pool throughout the day by the household service
Children's club:

Following the measures against the spread of epidemic, giving the circumstances, this service is partially or completely unavailable.

  • Defined number of users indoors
  • Record of the users of the children’s club
  • Disinfection of hands at the entrance of the children’s club
  • More outdoors activities in order to keep a distance between children
  • Disinfection of all surfaces used by children (inventory, equipment, and toys)
Conference space:
  • Information on mandatory prevention measures at the entrance
  • Thorough disinfection of surfaces and inventory with which the participants come into contact
  • Respecting the physical distance
  • Dispensaries with disinfectants in all areas
  • Mandatory protective masks indoors
  • Sitting arrangements in the hall respecting the physical distance
  • Predetermined maximal number of participants in the hal
In general:
  • Defined procedures in the event of COVID-19 suspicion/illness among the guests or employees
  • Regular training of employees on measures for prevention of spreading of the virus as well as for crisis response
  • Possession of protective equipment in the event of serving the guest suspected to be ill
  • Regular cooperation with state authorities in charged for protection of the population from infectious diseases
